Jose Garza has more than 37 years of experience practicing law. His chief practice areas are governmental entities and federal litigation, including First Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment issues, redistricting, federal voting rights, and civil rights. Jose has argued twice before the United States Supreme Court, a significant accomplishment in the legal community. He has taught voting rights seminars as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law and St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is currently the Litigation Director for Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, Inc. (part time) and is a co-founder of Garza Golando Moran, PLLC. Jose received his law degree from St. Mary's University.
