Jose Garza, Member

Jose Garza has more than 37 years of experience practicing law. His chief practice areas are governmental entities and federal litigation, including First Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment issues, redistricting, federal voting rights, and civil rights. Jose has argued twice before the United States Supreme Court, a significant accomplishment in the legal community. He has taught voting rights seminars as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law and St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is currently the Litigation Director for Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid, Inc. (part time) and is a co-founder of Garza Golando Moran, PLLC. Jose received his law degree from St. Mary's University.

Martin "Marty" Golando, Member

Marty Golando has close to a decade of experience practicing law. Before co-founding the firm, Marty was the chief of staff for a state representative, focusing on water policy, taxation, and governmental law. He was also general counsel for the Mexican American Legislative Caucus. Marty received his law degree from the University of Texas.

Michael P. Moran, Member

Michael Moran is a founding member of the law firm. Michael has been licensed to practice law since November 2014. During law school, he worked for the Travis County District Attorney's office as an intern in the felony prosecution division, for the Fourth Court of Appeals as a judicial intern, and as a legislative assistant for a state representative. He received his undergraduate and law degrees, both with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin.
